Real Tennis

The precursor of the modern game of lawn tennis, MTRC boasts one of only 46 real tennis courts in the world and only 27 in England. Steeped in history, the sport is both fascinating and intricate in detail making it thoroughly pleasurable to play. What’s more, its handicap system allows anyone from beginner to veteran to play one another. Some learn as children and young adults but many players take up the sport in middle-age and even following retirement.

 

Whilst backgrounds in other sports such as squash, rackets or lawn tennis may be helpful they are not prerequisites to improving your game. The club has fully qualified professional staff to take you on court and teach you how to become proficient.
